The rock garden at Knollwood

Our story

A family garden, growing again

Knollwood is named for my grandparents' home. The gardens there were loved for a long time, and the old photographs on this page come from those years: the rock garden, the tall white pines, the beds along the lawn.

Knollwood Flowers started as a plan between my mom and my Aunt Jojo to bring those gardens back to life. We lost Jojo in March 2023. Three years later, on that same date, Knollwood Flowers opened.

The handwriting you'll find on our cards and packaging is my Grangran's. Every bouquet, tuber and seed packet that leaves here goes out the way she signed her notes.

The business side

Flowers, and the systems behind them

When I'm not in the field, I run MOM Management, where I help entrepreneurs with operations and project management: the systems, the plans and the follow-through that keep a business running.

That's why Knollwood runs the way it does, and why we build tools for other small flower farms too. If you're growing a business of your own, flowers or not, I'd love to help.
